Document Description
CDFW is executing a Streambed Alteration Agreement (Agreement) pursuant to Section 1602 (SAA # 1600-2014-0127-R6) of the fish and Game Code to the Permittee, Mr. Paul Mora, 614 13th Street, Huntington Beach, CA 92648. The 185 Juniper Driver Pond Installation and Vegetation Removal Project is limited to the removal of herbaceous vegetation and willow saplings (diameter-at-breast-height of less than one-half inch) from 30 feet of the existing creek's bank and the creation of a 2-foot-deep, 20-foot-wide and 20-foot long pond using a combination of equipment (e.g. bobcat) and hand tools. The Streambed Alteration Agreement is being issued to address impacts to vegetated streambed from equipment access and pond creation, ensure there is no impact to downstream water quality, and address impacts resulting from the removal of vegetation from the stream bank (Project). The Project will result in temporary impacts to 30 sq. ft. of vegetated CDFW jurisdictional streambed from vegetation removal, and permanent impacts to 400 sq. ft. of vegetated CDFW jurisdictional riparian habitat from pond creation. The Project also includes future maintenance and vegetation removal. No sensitive species are expected to occur in the Project area.
