Document Description
The purpose of the project is to provide a launch ramp for non-motorized watercraft. The project is limited to two key elements: 1) placement of an entrenched, prefabricated concrete abutment on the breakwater acting as an anchor for the launch ramp, and 2) placement of the prefabricated concrete launch ramps from the abutment into the Sacramento River. The abutment will be prefabricated entirely off-site. The breakwater area will be prepared for the abutment and excavated down to approximately 4 feet below the existing ground surface and no lower than 3 feet above Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW) using a small land based excavator or similar equipment. Onece the abutment is in place, the area will be prepared for receiving the two prefabricated concrete launch ramps.
