Document Description
The San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board is issuing a Clean Water Act Section 401 water quality certification (Cert. No. R9-2014-0025) to the project applicant, City of Coronado. The applicant proposed to perform maintenance of existing headwalls through the placement of 150 cubic yards of clean course sand fill with minimal fines along 171 linear feet of headwall at five locations within the Coronado Cays. The purpose of the fill is to restore the buttress berm profile that supports the headwall and prevent structural failure of the headwall.
