Document Description
The County of Ventura has proposed a stormwater implementation project to treat stormwater runoff at Ojai Meadows Preserve (OMP) located at S. Lomita Avenue in Meiners Oaks, CA. The western 1-acre portion of he OMP site next to Lomita Avenue would have a new meandering vegetated swale enhanced with proprietary pollutant treatments to treat surface flows from the existing 24" storm drain pipe within Lomita Avenue. The project will reduce stormwater discharge pollution and improve receiving water quality by removing bacteria, nitrogen, phosphorus, trash, metals, and other urban pollutants typically present in the runoff from the residential impervious surface area.
