Document Description
Project is limited to dredging to remove accumulated sediment. Dredging will be done with a mechanical dredge equipped with a clamshell bucket or excavator. The proposed dredging depth at the Vallejo Marina is 10 feet below Meal Lower Low Water (-10' MLLW) plus a one-foot over dredge allowance. Approximately 60,000 cubic yards of material will be removed from the North and South Basins of the Vallejo Marina during the first dredging event. Material removed during the first dredge episode will be disposed at the unconfined aquatic disposal site location SF-9 in the Carquinez Strait. It is estimated that approximately 300,000 cubic yards of material will be removed over a five-year period of routine dredging. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2014-0187-R3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
