Document Description
The proposed project involves fabrication and installation of a monument commemorating the recent removal of the decommissioned South Bay Power Plan (SBPP) from its former bayfront site in Chula Vista. The monument is proposed to be installed in the northwestern portion of Marina View Park that overlooks the former SBPP site. The main component of the proposed monument will consist of a 26-foot high structure comprised of debris salvaged from the demolished SBPP. THe debris will be mounted on a stainless steel framework and enveloped by newly fabricated colored aluminum ribbons.
