Document Description
The project is limited to work necessary to remove four retired stage and tide stations at the above locations. A long steel rod will be welded to a steel plate large enough to cover 1/4 circumference of the corrugated metal pipe (CMP) allowing staff to lower the quarter round plate and place it up against the section of the well with the static tube openings. Concrete will be placed in the remaining buried section of the CMP to insure the static tube entrances into the stilling well are completely plugged by concrete. When all of the water has evaporated, the top portion of the CMP will be cut off below the ground level and the exposed portion of the CMP in the levee will be covered with soil. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2013-0391-3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
