Document Description
The Project will stabilize the creek bed and bank to protect an existing sewer line currently running under East Weaver Creek and enhance salmonid habitat along this reach through the installation of bioengineering designs and large wood debris (LWD). The Project includes working in the creek bed and and bank during the dry months, stabilizing a 100 foot long section of the creek bed and bank at the sewer pipe location, relocating the pipe riser away from the creek. Creek stabilization material will consist of rock and live willow cutting embankments (bioengineering) to provide shade and roughness to the bank. Grade control structures will consist of log groin structures. Habitat enhancement and creek stabilization structures will consist of rock and LWD structures to create habitat complexity, bank stability and a low flow channel.
