Document Description
The Site is under a DTSC Voluntary Cleanup Agreement (VCA) to cleanup Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) at a former chemical company that is now an exotic metals recycling and Trichloroethylene (TCE), that exceeds the project-specific commercial/industrial cleanup levels in order to minimize human exposure to the identified chemicals of concern (COCs). The RAW proposes to operate a Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) system to remove VOCs from impacted soils and soil vapor. The SVE removals will reduce the human health-based risk assessments to an acceptable standard and limit the Site to commercial/industrial use.
