The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) has approved an Explanation of Significant Differences (ESD) for the Former Mercury Dry Cleaners Site (Site) in Pinole, California. The ESD modifies the remedy approved on April 18, 2007 to include establishment of a Land Use Covenant restricting extraction of groundwater and limiting certain types of development at the Site.The approval is made pursuant to Health and Safety Code, Chapter 6.8.
