Document Description
The proposed project consists of mechanical removal of vegetation on an exisitng dirt road to maintain a fuel break to the northeast of the Circle Oaks residential subdivision. The Circle Oaks neighborhood has 179 homes and is located approximately nine miles east of the Napa Valley, along Highway 121 between Napa and Lake Berressa. Maintaining the fuel break to the northeast of Circle Oaks will act to stop or slow a fire moving towards the community, which will facilitate the suppression of a wildfire by firefighting personnel and improve community safety in the event of a fire.
