Document Description
Tioga Lake is part of Southern California Edison's (SCE) Lee Vining Hydroelectric Project, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Project No. 1388, for which FERC issued a new operating license on February 4, 1997. SCE proposes to install geomembrane liners on the Main Dam and Auxiliary Dam of Tioga Lake. In addition to the geomembrane installation, plinth repairs, outlet structure repair, and foundation grouting may be undertaken. Installation of the geomembrane is expected to extend the effective life span of the structures by up to thirty years.
