Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2014-0159-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Yuba County Water Agency.
The project is limited to repairing two small areas of scour located on the toe of the Log Cabin Diversion Dam spill apron. One of these scour areas is estimated to be approximately 18-inches tall, 12-inches deep, and 6-feet wide. The other scour area is 10-inches tall, 6-inches deep, and 6-feet wide. The Permittee plans to repair the scour areas during the proposed mechanical sediment removal in Log Cabin Diversion Dam. Fiber reinforced shotcrete with high silica fume content would be placed in the scour areas to fill them; a fix expected to hold up approximately 20-40 years.
