Document Description
The project is the adoption and implementation of the Redwood City 2015-2023 Housing Element, which represents an update to the City's adopted 2007-2014 Housing Element. The Housing Element is one of seven required elements of the General Plan. It addresses existing and future housing needs of persons in all economic segment groups and serves as a tool for decision-makers and the public in understanding and meeting housing needs in Redwood City. The proposed Housing Element addresses future residential development to meet the Regional Housing Needs Allocation (RHNA) for the 2014-2022 planning period, consistent with adopted land use policy.
