The project would provide necessary routine maintenance in stream channels and drainage facilities within the City and minimize future flooding across Sibley Street through restoration of the Willow Creek Channel. The City is approximately 22 square miles and relies on approximately 23 miles of natural creeks/channels to convey stormwater and many detention/water quality basins to filter the stormwater. The City anticipated completing between approximately 20-40 maintenance projects a year.
