Document Description
The City of Folsom's Stormwater Program and drainage services are administered by the City's Public Works Department which includes engineering, regulatory compliance, and operations and maintenance of the storm drain system. The City is approximately 22 square miles and relies on approximately 23 miles of natural creeks/channels to convey stormwater and many detention/water quality basins to filter the stormwater. To continue City maintenance activities within jurisdictional components of the creek and stormwater system, the City is required to enter into a new Routine Maintenance Agreement (RMA) with CDFW that meets the current code requirements.
