Document Description
Huckfest organizers propose a Special Event at ODSVRA on Friday and Saturday October. Huckfest is an exhibition of up to 25 street legal and registered off-highway trucks jumping off a gradual incline sand dune ramp with a flat landing platform similar to spontaneous vehicle riding that presently occurs at ODSVRA. Each vehicle would jump three times with the longest jump recorded. Participation is by invitation only. All vehicles go through a technical inspection by certified event staff. The course area would be fenced off to keep spectators a minimum of 200 feet away. The vent staff, drivers and monitors would use radio communications to signal course is clear before each jump. All activity would occur in the camping and open riding area of the ODSVRA and all pre-existing camping and vehicle limits would remain in effect during the event.
