Document Description
Yolo County is proposing to replace the existing structurally deficient Bridge 22C-0050 over Buckeye Creek, a three-span reinforced concrete T-beam structure, with a new single-span, cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete box girder structure. Replacement of the Buckeye Creek Bridge is needed to improve transportation system redundancy and increase public safety. Additionally, the existing structurally deficient concrete bridge also exhibits multiple concrete spalls, hairline moment cracks in most girders, and efflorescence indicating possible corrosion of the steel reinforcement.
