Document Description
In 2018, the DWR Division of Flood Management reexamined the Butte Slough Outfall Gates Rehabilitation Project and determined, in coordination with the National Marine Fisheries Service and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, that the approved project design and operation would need modifications to replace the flap gates with slide gates that can be operated to remain open depending on water elevations to minimize future fish stranding in the pipes.
