Document Description
The project consists of changing the zoning designation on a 2.76-acre vacant parcel from Light Industrial (ML) to Highway Commercial (CH) and the General Plan designation from Commercial/Industrial-Mixed Use (C/I) to Highway Commercial. The Highway Commercial zoning and General Plan designation would permit the site to be developed with a variety of new commercial uses (retail, restaurant, office, medical office, etc.). The application to rezone the property does not include a development application. The request is limited to changing the project site's zoning designation to Highway Commercial. The proposed zone change does not itself permit any development, but it does allow new land uses. There is non preferred development option for this site and a preferred site plan has not been established.
