Caltrans District 12 is proposing to add one high occupancy vehicle lane in each direction on I-5 between SR 55 and SR 57 within the city of Santa Ana in Orange County. One HOV lane would be constructed in both the southbound and northbound direction for approximately 2.9 miles of this portion of I-5. The proposed project also includes removal of the southbound off-ramp and northbound on-ramp HOV structure at Main Street.
