Pilot project testing the effectiveness of placing a thin-layer (8-10 cm) of clean, dredge material on an existing low-elevation salt marsh in the Seal Beach National Wildlife Refuge. This project includes implementation of sediment augmentation as well as a pre- and post-construction monitoring program.
