Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to stabilize the bank of Santa Margarita Creek located north of the City of San Luis Obispo on U.S. 101 in San Luis Obispo County. The purpose of the work is to prevent further erosion into the State right-of-way and eventually the northbound lanes of US 101. The project will reclaim lost shoulder width and traffic recovery area by restoring the original bank alignment, removing accumulated material in the original flow line, and stabilizing the bank against future erosion.
