Document Description
The project involves modifications to an existing Sprint Wireless telecommunications facility in Embarcadero Marina Park South (EMPS) in the City of San Diego. An addendum to the Spring EMPS Telecommunications Project Neg. Dec. was warranted based on the proposed modifications. Verizon Wireless proposed to "collocate" on the existing cellular tree by installing additional cellular equipment onto the existing cellular tower, constructing a new equipment room adjacent to the existing Sprint Wireless equipment room, and installing ancillary equipment and utilities to operate the facility. Work to complete the proposed project would not increase the height of the existing faux tree.
