The Bicycle, Pedestrian and Trails Master Plan (BPTMP, or Master Plan) is intended to guide and influence pedestrian, bicycle, and trail policies, programs, and development standards to make biking and walking in Elk Grove more safe, comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable for all community members. The ultimate goal of the BPTMP is to increase the number of persons who walk and bicycle for transportation to work, school, and errands, and for recreation.
