Document Description
The project is limited to: 1) Removing non-native invasive species, primarily Himalayan blackberry and some moderate removal of large periwinkle and French broom, over an approximately 10,000 square meter riparian area. While invasive understory species will be removed, a dense and stable native tree canopy will remain intact throughout project activities. 2) Replanting with approximately 1,800 individual native species during the first year following removal, and ongoing supplemental planting/monitoring. Work will occur using hand tools and manual methods. SAA #1600-2014-0096-R3.
