The California Department of Resources Recycling & Recovery (CalRecycle) sponsors the Recycling Market Development Zone program to allow cities and counties to access certain CalRecycle resources, including information and low-interest loans, for businesses that utilize waste products as an input and request RMDZ resources. CalRecycle requires a redesignation of the existing Sonoma/Mendocino Lake zone, whose participating jurisdictions are unchanged.
