Document Description
Install a self-service fee station ("iron ranger"), an animal proof trash bin and signs at the Old Salmon Falls parking lot within Folsom Lake SRA. The fee station is replacing an existing fee station at this parking area. The location of the new pavement area will be inset between the north access gate within the park unit and the south end of the guard rail. A 6'x10' concrete pad with a partial perimeter curb will be installed to house the self-service fee station, trash bins and signs. Fill will be added to provide a level pad for ADA compliance.

Class 1, 2, 4, 11 Project consists of minor alteration of existing public facilities involving no expansion of use beyond that previously existing, replacement of existing structures and facilities where the new structure will be located on the same site as the structure replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity of the structure replaced, minor public alterations in the condition of land which do not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees and the construction or placement of minor structures accessory to existing facilities included as "modifications of existing facilities for disabled access, installation of signs, installation of fee collection devices and installation of additional public use facilities" in the Dept. of Parks and Recreation's list of exempt activities, in accordance with CCR §15300.4.
