- Project is limited to the repair and replacement of two wing-walls at Bridge #142 on Marsh Creek Road. The southeast wingwall will be demolished and replaced with a new wing-wall; 30 feet long, and a gradual height variance of zero to 16 feet. The wall will be comprised of pre-cast concrete lagging supported by 5 soldier piles, each pile will consist of a 30 inch diameter hole drilled 25 to 38 feet into the creek bed, each hole will have a steel section inserted and be backfilled with concrete. The completed wingwall will be connected to an existing box culvert with a joint dowel and will be armored with 308 sq. ft. of rock slope protection. The northwest wingwall will be secured using 2 steel beams held in place by 3 soil nails, extending 35 feet into the slope. De-watering shall occur 40 feet upstream and 65 feet downstream using 2 cofferdam structures. T he Project will result in the removal of 4 native tree species. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2014-0051-R3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
