Document Description
Project consists of a one-time special Fireworks display on July 4, 2014 at approximately 9:00 p.m. The event will be a free, outdoor fireworks display at Glorietta Bay in the City of Coronado. The display will last for approximately 14-16 minutes. The City of Coronado 4th of July Committee will sponsor the event and Pyro Spectaculars will be the operator of the Fireworks show. the fireworks display does not require construction of any on-land support facilities. The fireworks will be launched off one, spud barge. The barge safety/clear zone and placement of the barge were specified by the charlett provided by the U.S. Coast Guard. As part of the project, the operator will implement water quality measures and employ Best Management Practices specific to fireworks shows before, during and after the event. A fireworks monitoring study will also be conducted as recommended by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
