- Project is limited to the removal of sunken barge. The barge is approximately 15 feet wide, 40 feet long and 2 feet high. The barge is located approximately 15 feet from a boathouse dock in approximately 3 to 6 feet of water. To refloat the barge one or more holes will be drilled in the barge and air will be pumped in. The drill cuttings will be contained in a boom and a silt curtain will be used around the barge to contain sediment. Once a-float the barge will be pulled from the water by a recovery vehicle staged on an existing boat ramp. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2014-0200-R3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
