Document Description
The project is a grant award to the County of Riverside to develop a proposed amendment to their General Plan, including proposed revisions to the Multipurpose Open Space Element, Land Use Element, Area Plans, and other areas of the General Plan to facilitate eligible renewable energy resource development. The project will provide a framework of policies and data addressing eligible renewable energy resources countywide with particular focus on the development and expansion of geothermal resources in the Salton Sea and the coordination of solar resources in the far eatern portion of the county.
