Document Description
The project is limited to the repair and protection of the entrance to the Petaluma Marina from the Petalum River through the installation of additional riprap. The existing riprap was damaged during storms in 2005/2006. The project will require grubbing of a limited amount of vegetation in the project footprint. A temporary coffer dam will be constructed around the entire worksite. The coffer dam will be dewatered using a screened sump pump equipped with filter/silt fence to maintain water quality of pump discharge. A footing trench will be excavated at the toe of the stream bank, a layer of rock slope protection filter fabric will be placed in the trench and against the stream bank.
