The project will involve improvements to the existing water system in order to correct deficiencies in source of supply, treatment capacity, and storage. The proposed project involves the construction, operation, and maintenance of one additional slow sand filter cell, two new wells, one new welded steel water storage tank, new treatment plant controls, instrumentation, and communications, new photovoltaic power supply, new iron and manganese treatment system, and replacement of water meters.
