As part of the implementation of the 2007-2014 Housing Element, the City proposes simple and minor amendments to three chapters of the Land Used and Development Code (LUDC). The amendments are: Define transitional housing, supportive housing, and emergency shelter; Define studio apartment; Codify existing approved special standards zoning overlays for emergency shelters and transitional housing (Special Standards Overlay 10, and 11); Clarify off-street parking requirements for Studio Apartments; Clarify residential setbacks for single-family zoning in relation to accessibility ramps.
