PLU is the private German-American International School/Public Facilities District (P-F)/Public Facilities
To accommodate projected increases in District enrollment, a new elementary school would be constructed at the existing 6.0 acre of O'Connor school site (formerly leased and occupied by the German American International School) to accommodate 360 students in grades 3 to 5. The classroom facilities would consist of approximately 55,000 square feet, housing both academic and administrative functions. Enhanced internal traffic circulation and parking would be provided and the athletic field would be expanded along with the upgraded perimeter fencing. As a neighborhood school, students would primarily walk and bicycle to the new school.
