Document Description
The Taylor Yard River Parcel G2 Project includes the development of an approximately 41-acre former rail yard site in the City of Los Angeles, near the Los Angeles River. The City is in the process of acquiring the site from its current owner. On approximately 10-acre portion of the site, soil contaminants would be remediated to recreational standards. On an approximately 31-acre portion of the site, soil contaminants would be remediated to industrial standards. Installation of best management practices as part of water quality improvements, as well as creation of parkland and open space would occur within the approximately 10-acre portion of the site. The remaining 31 acres of the site would be developed, once appropriate future land use is determined, and any required additional environmental analysis completed. The project is subject to DTSC consultation.
