Document Description
This amendment makes four changes to the ITP as originally issued. First, this Amendment changes the permit expiration date to Dec. 31, 2016, and removes language in the Project Description regarding Long-term Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Activities. Second, it reduces the temporary impacts for the project to 0.238 acre. Third, it changes the Habitat Management Land Acquisition requirements for the ITP to allow for purchase of one credit from a CDFW-approved conservation bank. Fourth it reduces the temporary habitat impact restoration requirements to 0.238 acre. The project will temporarily impact 0.238 acre of San Joaquin kit fox (Vulpes macrotis mutica) (SJKF) and San Joaquin antelope squirrel (Ammospermophilus nelsonii) (SJAS) habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take of SJKF which is designated as a threatened species and SJAS which is designated as an endangered species under the CESA. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
