Blue Sky Dairy Expansion Project

Note: Revised Changes have been made to the Blue Sky Dairy Waste Management Plan and Nutrient Management Plan. Changes to the project require re-evaluation of potential environmental effects and recirculation of the Draft EIR. As modified, the proposed project would be developed/operated in two locations, 1) the existing Blue Sky Dairy and associated cropland application areas, and 2) an off-site wastewater storage pond located at the existing Marcelino Dairy. CUP13-013 proposes to expand the existing dairy to house 5,366 animals, including 2,750 milk cows. This is an increase of 3,966 from existing numbers. It also includes new construction and modifications to the active dairy facilities.
