Document Description
Eastern Municipal Water District (Eastern) is in the process of implementing its Solar Photovoltaic Renewable Energy Initiative. As part of Phase I of that Initiative, Eastern is constructing a 0.5 megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic (PV) project at its headquarters in Perris California. Based on the success of the procurement approach and delivery model for that project, Eastern is now planning to commerce Phase II which would consist of construction of 1.0 MW solar PV systems at their Regional Water Reclamation Facilities (RWRF) located in Moreno Valley, Perris, San Jacinto, and Temecula, in addition to the Perris I/Menifee Desalination Facility. Three solar technologies were evaluated and it was decided that the project will construct a single axis-tracker technology at each of the five locations.
