Document Description
The proposed project involves: the installation of a new 14-foot high sound wall along a portion of the westerly property line abutting 7th Avenue, enclosing a 1,719 sf existing loading dock, installation of a new 72-sf (9'-3" by 7'-9") canopy over a rear landing, legalization of one existing 8'x40' cargo container for storage, and new temporary and permanent loading hours in the front entrance of the market (between 5:00 am to 7:00am). The proposed project is to address community identified issues regarding noise from the existing loading area. The loading area is located to the rear of the property abutting Seventh Avenue. The subject site consists of an irregularly-shaped parcel that is approximately 235,677 sf and maintains a commercial shopping center and a surface parking lot. The proposed improvements are for the operation of the 55,468 sf Whole Foods Market onsite.
