The National Park Service has prepared a Wilderness Stewardship Plan / Final EIS to provide direction for the National Park Service to make decisions regarding the future use and protection of the parks' wilderness. The WSP/FEIS analyzes the consequences of creating a plan that would provide management direction for the many outstanding resource values present in the parks' wilderness, including natural and cultural resources, as well as diverse recreational and educational opportunities for visitors.
