This project will establish the long-term management goals and framework for the wilderness areas of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks in order to preserve the wilderness character. Evaluated within the Wilderness Stewardship Plan/Draft Environmental Impact Statement are the visitor and administrative use of the wilderness, wilderness trails, campfires, flood storage, human-waste management, party size, overnight use, stock use and grazing, administrative structures and developments, wilderness access points and facilities, wilderness education, commercial services in wilderness, and the protection of natural and cultural resources.
