Document Description
San Diego RWQCB is issuing a Clean Water Act Section 401 water quality certification (Cert. No. R9-2014-0115) to the project applicant. The applicant proposes to realign and widen an approx. 3,700 linear foot section of Old Otay Mesa Road to allow for new roadway improvements, including adding new sidewalks and bicycle lanes on both sides of the road and enhanced safety features. One drainage to the unnamed tributary of Tijuana River will be filled with a culvert extension and replaced with a created ephemeral drainage on finished grade, and a second drainage may be temporarily impacted from a storm drain realignment.
