Document Description
The project is limited to maintenance dredging of the existing access channel, known as Dredger Cut, to allow safe vessel passage to boat slips, during the period of August 1 to November 30. The channel is 3,400 feet long and 30 feet wide, and will be dredged to a depth of approximately -3 feet NGVD (2,892 feet below mean lower low water). Material from the channel will be removed by suction dredging and deposited in a designated dredge material confinement area on Ida Island. The dredging equipment will be mounted on a floating barge. Turbidity monitoring will be done during dredging operations. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2013-0463-R3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
