Document Description
The project is designed to address deficiencies of the wastewater treatment facility which services Ishi Conservation Camp. Currently, there are two wastewater ponds located on an elevated terrace south of the camp. Each pond is divided into two halves by a soil berm. The perimeter of each pond has a soil berm as containment for the pond water. All berms were constructed of materials removed from the original pond excavation. The ponds had previously received a bentonite lining treatment; however, the ponds are currently leaking and are considered inadequate in size by RWQCB for the population occupying Ishi Conservation Camp.
