Document Description
The California Department of Public Health (Department) is a responsible agency for this project. The Department's Public Water System Drought Emergency Funding Proram is providing state funds for the project. Tuolumne Utilities District proposes to expand Matelot Reservoir from 6 acre feet (AF) to 15 AF. The funds will be used to pay for the rental of the equipment to perform the necessary earthwork, hydroseeding, and erosion control for the expanded reservoir; two HDPE water tanks to provide water for the watering trough; a water trough for the cattle in the area; fencing to keep the cattle from entering the reservoir; a staff gauge; labor costs; engineering costs; and surveying of the area.
