Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is issuing a permit to Vince Scheidt and Brett Hall pursuant to Fish and Game Code 2081(a) for a project that will involve the collection of seeds, seedlings, and cuttings of Acmispon argophyllus var. adsurgens from San Clemente Island with the goal of establishing an ex situ population at University of California, Santa Cruz. The ex situ population may then be used for future horticultural research, or for outplanting in the case of a catastrophic loss on San Clemente Island. All collecting will be conducted by hand.
