Project would include the construction of a new single-story, 2,859-square foot, modular school-based primary care community clinic and associated parking area on the grounds on Herbert Ibarra Elementary School located on Orange Avenue in San Diego. The proposed clinic would include ground disturbance of approximately 9,800 square feet on an already disturbed site within the southern portion of the school campus. Access to the site would be directly from Polk Avenue.
Minor Additions to Schools of the CEQA Guidelines
-Includes minor improvements/modifications to an existing school campus;
-Would not affect school capacity, level of use, or enrollment;
-Would not have a significant effect on the environment due to unusual circumstances;
-Would not result in significant cumulative impacts;
-Would not result in damage to scenic resources within an officially designated state scenic highway;
-Would not be located on a hazardous waste site pursuant to Section 65962.5 of the Government Code; and
-Would not cause a substantial adverse change in the significance of a historical or biological resource.
