Document Description
The purpose of this project is to remove three exotic plants, French broom (Genista monspessuiana), Spanish broom (Cylisus multifiorus), and English Ivy (Hedera helix) from an area of less than 5 acres total, on two gravel bars below the Hickey Campground and along the river access trail that begins near the campfire center. This will support the grouwth of native plants and enhance visitors' experiences. These species will be removed using hand tools, primary weed wrenches and Pulaskis. A hand saw or chainsaw may be required tocut some of the larger broom plants to the ground.
